Completly new: The POIView Tools! These tools help you at your work using POIView. All tools are still under development but you can test them already. All you need is a installed version of POIView, the tools are free!

So: Go and test them! And these tools are currently available:

Have you already used the function to select POIs by regions? Then you know the shape files that are available for download. Using this tool you can create your own files using source files in the common E00 format. So you can create regions that are not available for public download yet.

Do you knwo KML files as used in GoogleEarth? Thousands of POIs are stored in onw file - and you can convert them to ASC files. Even large collections are converted with a single click. Due to the complex possibilities to store data in these files not all files can be converted.

All tools are still beta, so not all functions do work. It is also possible that some functions do not give correct results or even currupt data. Please use these tools only on backuped files and on your own risk!
